Presentation: Antony athlétisme 92 was created in 1961 by tree man: Henri ABADIE, BARRE and KUGLER. The club on that time had only 20 members. Between 1965 and 1969 the club had 200 members. In 1967 one of the 200 athletes went to the world championship with the French relay team 4x100m and they brake the world record. His name was Marc BERGER.
1972: Everything changed in the club administration. Mr Barre was fired and 42 athletes leaved the club because of what they taught was an injustice. Mr ABADIE decided to leave also, so did the secretary. The club failed from 46 to 56 place on the french club ranking in 1971 and this situation was not going to get better with the athletes and club president leaving. But finally it was the best thing that happened to the club, the youth took responsibilities of the club. It is a revolution, the new president is 26 years old, the secretary is 25 and the treasurer is only 20 years old. At the end of the year the club was nationally ranked 35th.
1976: The club was nationally ranked 17th.
1977: A new stadium was built, and the club had 270 members.
1978-1981: Some athletes of the club were nationally ranked and break some records, and some went to the French championship were they went on the podium. Unfortunately, at the end of 1981 the was nationally ranked 120th because of a bad management; the athletes are also taking care of the administration and management of the club and they had a hard time doing both and that had a repercussion on the club.
1987: The construction of the small indoor track was finished and the track opened, but only the pole-vaulters and some sprinters and jumpers could have access to the track and the distance runners get mad and quit the club.
1990: Regis Pianel became president of the club. The club was only ranked 270th.
1993: Antony athlétisme fusion with the club of Fontenay-aux roses and became Entente Athlétisme Antony Sud 92 (EAAS92)
1994: Things were getting better, the female and male teams were ranked in division National 2 B and the club was nationally ranked 42.
2004: The club had 451 athletes and 132 was nationally ranked.
